Anirudh Ravichander Reacts to Ed Sheeran x ‘King’ Rumours

The buzz began after Ravichander, who previously collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan on the global hit Jawan, was asked by the Bombay Times if Sheeran would feature on the King soundtrack. The composer revealed that the collaboration has been a serious point of discussion for the creative team."That was just an idea. It hasn’t been executed yet," Ravichander stated.

Ravichander, who is handling the film's score while the duo Sachin–Jigar composes the songs, emphasised the scale of the project's musical ambitions. He noted that the goal is to "celebrate" the superstar and ensure the production meets the high expectations of a global audience.

With a reported budget of INR 350 crore, King features a star-studded ensemble including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, and Rani Mukerji.
