The reviews for the most-awaited film of the year, Zero, are out. While the Shah Rukh Khan movie might have drawn mostly negative reviews, there are a few aspects of the movie that have invited unanimous praise from all over. The extraordinary VFX being one, and Katrina Kaif being the second point in case. Katrina has been around in the industry for 15 years now. The actress was not a critics' favourite initially but made her way up slowly and steadily beginning with praises for her dancing skills. It almost seems like, after Namastey England and New York, she is getting lauded for her acting skills now with Zero. Here is what the critics are saying about her performance in the Aanand L Rai film.

Times of India said, "Katrina Kaif appears in a smaller part, but she totally impresses in the performance of a conflicted Bollywood star, who is also heartbroken." Zero Movie Review: Shah Rukh Khan’s Infectious Charm, Anushka Sharma’s Brilliant Act and Katrina Kaif’s Stunning Performance Win You Over!

Showsha.com wrote, "Katrina pulls off complex scenes with ease and almost makes you forget you're watching someone who has been criticised for her acting skills throughout her career."

After criticising Anushka Sharma for her performance, Hindustan Times, wrote, "Kaif, meanwhile, plays an intensely self-aware part, that of the lovelorn, cheated-upon superstar, and the actress impressively endows her vainglorious character with a serrated edge." Zero Song Heer Badnaam: Fans Are Pleasantly Surprised by Katrina Kaif's Completely 'Different Side' as Babita Kumari!

Livemint wrote, "As a perpetually drunk and heartbroken movie star, arguably, Katrina Kaif delivers what could be considered her most authentic performance."

Scroll.in wrote, ". Katrina Kaif is spot-on as Babita, a cynical and shambolic celebrity who adopts Bauua as her mascot and forges a relationship of empathy and mutual understanding with her knee-high friend. Kaif has rarely been this good, and she emerges as Zero’s surprise element."

Film Companion sums it up on one line. "Katrina Kaif is the best thing about Zero."

Filmfare wrote, " Katrina has been given the most real role of her life so far and has run away with it. She makes you see the grime beneath the glamour and one can feel she’s having a lot of fun doing a role that kind of demystifies the film industry."

Katrina Kaif must be on cloud nine. The actress is finally getting her due in Bollywood when it comes to praises for her acting skills. We can't wait to see more of this side of Katrina 'Hero' Kaif.
