Brendon Urie rose to fame as the lead vocalist of Panic! At The Disco who over the years not only became the face of the band but stayed true to the it's original sound. Panic! At The Disco’s last member is very popular among musicians and also stands as a LGBTQ inspiration. There is an Instagram account which is significantly dedicated to the notes of gratitude for the singer from fans across the globe. However, the recent interview with Paper has kind of came as a surprise to many about his sexuality. The 31-year-old American song composer was quoted saying, “I’m married to a woman and I’m very much in love with her but I’m not opposed to a man because, to me, I like a person. Yeah I guess you could qualify me as pansexual because I really don’t care.”

Urie further added, “If a person is great, then a person is great. I just like good people, if your heart’s in the right place. I’m definitely attracted to men. It’s just people that I am attracted to.” Fans of the singer have enjoyed Urie’s music, and many feel that few are quite relatable. In 2013, Girls/Girls/Boys was released, a song about the artist’s first threesome was embraced as a strong message— “coming out and accepting who you are,” said the 31-year-old. Previously, Urie claimed to be straight; however, he mentioned that he has experimented in realms of homosexuality and bisexuality. He now told Paper, “I guess this is me coming out as pansexual.”

Throughout his 15 years journey in the industry, the vocalist has always been quite open about his opinions on the raising issue. During the end of Pride Month, Urie donated a 1 million dollar gift to the United States-based education organisation, Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) through his Highest Hopes Foundation. Urie said in an earlier statement, “For years my fans have inspired me with their determination and creativity as they have created a safe and inclusive community. I felt the time had come for me to join them boldly, to bring that energy and power to bear on the huge challenges facing our whole society.”
