Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and the entire cast of Veere Di Wedding were at their stylish best for the music launch of the film. They called the film Rhea's baby and Ekta has strongly believed in and backed the film. In interaction with the media at the event, Ekta was asked if she thinks that the hike in petrol prices will affect the film in any way since people might have to drive their spouses to the film and they might not want to, owing to the high petrol prices. Ekta had a perfectly savage response to the question, which is not surprising coming from her.

She said, "Even if petrol prices are at its highest, men will take women for drives & in today's time, women will take men for drives. This isn't the movie that you're going to stop watching as at this time you need to spend less on driving & more in theatre." Ekta is known for voicing her opinion and is one of the most successful producers in the country. Ekta and Rhea also spoke about Veere Di Wedding getting an 'A' certificate by the CBFC Board. Ekta said that the very fact that both their fathers went to fight it out with the CBFC committee makes a huge difference.

Veere Di Wedding will release on 1st June 2018 and will clash with Harshvardhan Kapoor's Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. The stellar cast of the film promises a lot of entertainment and girlfriend goals. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania are pretty positive that the youth will relate to the film. The trailer and songs from the film have already gotten the audience pretty excited about it. What are your thoughts on this? Tell us in the comments below and stay tuned with us for more.
