Avengers: Endgame, which finally released on Friday, April 26, is on a record-breaking spree at the Indian box office. The film, which is directed by Russo Brothers, opened to rave reviews from the critics all over and then took a massive opening in India on Friday. The superhero flick raked in a whopping Rs 53.10 crore on day 1 and broke the opening day record of Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan's Thugs Of Hindostan. After creating history on the first day, Endgame has now achieved one more milestone. Announcing the news, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and wrote, "#AvengersEndgame crosses ₹ 100 cr in *2 days*... #Baahubali2 [#Hindi] crossed ₹ 100 in *3 days* and so did the biggies from the *Hindi* film industry... #AvengersEndgame is all set to have the highest ever opening weekend... Boxoffice is on fire."

He then tweeted, "#AvengersEndgame is rewriting record books... Puts up a HISTORIC total on Day 2... Eyes ₹ 150 cr+ weekend... No biggie from *Hindi* film industry has achieved the target so far... Fri 53.10 cr, Sat 51.40 cr. Total: ₹ 104.50 cr Nett BOC. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 124.40 cr."

Further, talking about the film's craze, Adarsh wrote, "The unimaginable craze for #AvengersEndgame only goes to prove, yet again, that the moviegoers are willing to dig into their wallets/purses and shell out exorbitant money for tickets *if* the film is worth it...
