How exciting is this week? Well, the Lion King live-action (animated action, perhaps) is all set to release on July 19. But that's not the only highlight! At the European red carpet of The Lion King's premiere, the royalties finally met and it was every bit extravagant! Just last month Beyonce and Jay Z expressed their love and respect for Meghan Markle in a video where they called her the real royalty of Britain. Of course, when royals laud each other for being so, well, regal, it only makes our hearts flutter. It is no secret that Beyonce is a big fan of the Duchess of Sussex. So when the two finally met on the red carpet, sparks of joy flew on all sides! Beyoncé's New Song 'Spirit' For The Lion King Has Been Dropped And It Is Euphonious - Check It Out!

They hugged each other and shared a bit of a conversation that we wish we could figure out soon! This is perhaps the first event where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left their 2-month-old toddler, Prince Archie, to make an appearance. While Meghan wore a lovely black dress with sheer sleeves, Beyonce rocked a golden crepe gown with a hip-high slit! Check out the pictures from the premiere below!
