CNN has pulled episodes of the late celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain’s show 'Parts Unknown', which now features actress Asia Argento, owing to allegations against Argento made by actor and musician Jimmy Bennett. The actress, who was dating Bourdain at the time of his death, appeared in two episodes of the series and directed the third. However, CNN has discontinued airing past episodes of the show. Confirming the news, a CNN spokesperson told BuzzFeed News, "All three episodes were removed from CNN’s streaming service, CNN Go, in wake of sexual harassment allegations against the actress."

Reportedly, the episodes will also not be shown in syndication. In a statement to E! News, a Parts Unknown spokesperson said, "In light of the recent news reports about Asia Argento, CNN will discontinue airing past episodes of Parts Unknown that included her, until further notice." Denying the allegations of having any sexual relationship with a 17-year-old, the actress said, "Bourdain urged me to reach a financial settlement to end Bennett’s 'long-standing persecution'."

Following news of the scandal, Argento was also axed as a judge on 'X Factor Italy'. Speaking of sexual allegations, Bennett had sought legal action against the actress for an alleged sexual encounter that took place  in 2013 at a hotel in Marina Del Rey, Calif, when he was 17 and she was 37. According to a report in New York Times, the actress reached a $380,000 settlement with Bennett last year. However, the

Argento and Anthony Bourdain first met while filming a Parts Unknown episode in the actress' hometown of Rome and dated until the TV host and chef committed suicide on June 8 in France. Watch this space for further updates.
