Here is a heartwarming piece of news from Hollywood. Machete actor Danny Trejo stepped in to save a child from the wreckage of a car. As per a report by ABC 7, two cars collided with each other on the streets of LA. Danny was in the area when the accident took place. Without batting an eyelid, the reel-hero swiftly moved to save the passenger of the car, turning into a real-life hero. The car had overturned on its roof after the collision. The child was with his grandmother inside the car. Danny crawled inside the upside-down car and tried to unbuckle the jammed seat belt of the kid. Another bystander, a woman, joined him in this quick rescue mission. After some efforts, the two were able to free the child and bring him out of the car.

The actor distracted the kid while the firefighters arrived on the scene and rescued the grandmother. In an interview later, Danny said, "And the only thing that saved that little kid was his car seat, honest to God."

Talking about how he kept the kid calm, he said, "He was panicked. I said OK we have to use our superpowers. So he screamed 'superpowers' and we started yelling 'superpowers." I said do this, with the muscles. He said 'muscles.'" He said that he employed his experience of working with special-needs children to keep the kid composed.

"We got kind of a bond. I kept facing him away from the accident," he added.

This would not be the first time a Hollywood celeb has come to the rescue of someone. A few years ago, Hugh Jackman had saved two people from drowning at a Sydney beach. Clint Eastwood once performed the Heimlich manoeuvre on a man to save him from being choked. Kate Winslet literally rescued a woman from a burning building. And of course, the 2011-video of Ryan Gosling breaking a street fight is still an internet favourite.
