Riverdale star KJ Apa was recently in the news for flaunting his new quarantine look. The actor has been sporting a beard and a long hair amid coronavirus lockdown and has received a of mixed reactions for the same from his fans. Recently though, the 23-year-old actor sent his fans in shock as he shared a video where he documented a metal shard being removed from his eye. The actor shared the video with a caption saying, "A shard of metal got stuck in my eyeball." In the video, we see Apa holding open his left eyelid as his friend and celebrity hairstylist Jason Schneidman attempts to remove the fragment. The actor is then seen carefully dabbing his eyeball with a cotton swab and gently manages to get it out. After Schneidman examines his eye and says, "You got the piece out, bro. That's the piece that was f—— in your eye." Apa seems to be an accident-prone person. Back in 2017, the actor had reportedly fallen asleep behind the wheel after a long day of shooting which resulted in a car accident in Vancouver, Canada. His vehicle reportedly struck a light pole during this accident and luckily the actor had escaped unscathed during this incident.
