Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is Sony Pictures' new attempt to give an animated spin to the adventures of Spider-Man. While the movie-loving audiences are already familiar with the idea of Peter Parker as Spidey, Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse introduces us to a new Spider-Man in the form of Miles Morales. Morales has had a popular run in the comics as Spider-Man (he even has an Easter Egg dedicated to him in Spider-Man: Homecoming). However, this is the first time he is making a big screen appearance. Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse Movie Review: Miles Morales Confidently Swings His Way Into This Beautifully Crafted Superhero Film.

That doesn't mean he is alone. For Peter Parker also has an important role in the film and so do Spider-Gwen, Peni Parker, Spider-Man Noir and Spider-Ham. Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse has been getting really great reviews, with many critics claiming it could be the best superhero movie in recent times. Most of the praise goes to the breath-taking visuals, the premise and the voice-casting. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Movie Review: Best Spider-Man Movie EVER, Quote International Critics.

And like any Marvel movie these days, Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse also has two post-credit scenes. So let's talk about what they are (FULL SPOILERS AHEAD).

The Mid-Credit Scene

It is not exactly a scene but a tribute to two of the departed marvel comics legends, Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Both of whom had a hand in creating Spider-Man comics and both had passed away last year. BTW, Stan Lee also has a cameo in the film that is a fitting tribute to his legacy.

End-Credit Scene

This hilarious scene sets up a very promising sequel to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, with the same themes. We go to the year 2099, where we meet Spider-Man 2099 (voiced by Oscar Isaac, no less). He has learnt about the events in the movie and using his own dimension-hopping device, decides to take things in his hands to help out. He decides goes to the '60s to meet the first Spiderman, but gets into a hilarious argument with him, recreating that above iconic comic panel.
