Tony Stark might just be a movie character, but his death in Avengers: Endgame has left a void in the hearts of the fans. As if we have not cried enough already about the departure of the fan-favourite character from the MCU, the director duo, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, has stirred the pot again. The directors held an AMA session on Reddit recently which led to the revelation of many new aspects about the 22nd MCU film. A fan asked the brothers what was the most difficult day of filming Endgame for them. They replied, "Tony Stark's death," Avengers Endgame Directors Russo Brothers Reveal Why Kneeling Tribute to Iron Man Was Cut from the Film.

Earlier, Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man/Peter Parker in the MCU, said that it was an emotional day on sets when they shot the scene. "It was a really, really interesting way to shoot such a kind of pivotal scene of the movie, but it was a really emotional day and I mean looking back on it now it was maybe the craziest day on set you know,” he told an entertainment portal.

In the AMA session, Russo Brothers also explained why the scene where Avengers kneel in honour of Tony Stark after his demise was deleted.  Avengers Endgame: Here's Your Chance to See All the Deleted Scenes from Marvel's Biggest Superhero Outing.

"We found the Avengers kneeling scene incredibly emotional as well, but when played in the run of the film, it felt incredibly similar to the moment when all of the heroes stood on the shore at Tony's funeral, paying their respects to him outside his home," Joe Russo answered a fan query, adding, "The two scenes, when in the film together, seemed to fight one another, and created a repetitious ending."

Avengers: Endgame has become the most successful film of all time. The movie was able to topple James Cameron's Avatar from its top position at the global box-office.
