Prime Video and CJ ENM to Bring Over 100 Korean Shows to India - Know About Amazon's Multi-Year Deal With Korea’s Largest Entertainment Studio
The deal will give Prime Video customers across India access to over a 100 Korean shows, including 26 new titles from acclaimed K-content studio CJ ENM, featuring global hits such as 'The Legend of Kitchen Soldier', 'Yumi's Cells' - all seasons, and 'My Bias, My Boss', amongst others that will release over a period of two years on the streaming app.
In a major announcement made on July 27, 2026, in Mumbai, India, Amazon Prime Video India and Korean entertainment powerhouse CJ ENM declared a multi-year distribution deal. Keeping in mind the increasing fandom of K-Pop and Korean drama content among Indians audiences, the collaboration will offer a slate of 26 new titles from CJ ENM in the next two years. This will be apart from the regular and popular titles from CJ ENM’s existing content library, which will be showcased on Prime Video India. The Prime Video India and CJ ENM deal for India will include over 100 Korean titles over the next two years. What's more, the new and upcoming Korean titles under the deal will feature subtitles in English for easy viewing, and furthermore will be dubbed in the Indian languages of Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The series Yumi's Cells Season Three, the latest instalment of CJ ENM's flagship franchise that had topped streaming charts in 81 countries, including the USA, Brazil, France, and the UAE, will now be streamed in India. Yumi's Cells Season One and Season Two will also be available on Prime Video India. Other Korean shows include globally celebrated ones such as Filing for Love, which ranked No. 1 in 105 countries; the breakout series The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, which captivated global audiences, and the romantic comedy My Bias, My Boss, among others.
Library titles like Dear X, Law in the City, Study Group, My Dearest Nemesis, Search: WWW and others will also be streamed. Featuring acclaimed talent including Kim You-Jung, Lee Jong-suk, Park Ji-hoon, and Cha Woo-min, these titles are backed by compelling storytelling across a diverse range of genres—drama, thriller, romance, fantasy, and action—that have captivated audiences worldwide.
