"Aaaand here we are reaching for the skies," tweeted Aditi Rao Hydari as she shared the first teaser of her upcoming Telugu film, Antariksham 9000 KMPH. And truly it seems that Indian cinema is reaching for the sky, finally. Antariksham 9000 KMPH, as the title suggests, is a space film, where Aditi, along with Varun Tej, play astronauts. Antariksham 9000 KMPH is directed by Sankalp Reddy, the man behind the underrated Ghazi. Well, after exploring the underwater, Sankalp has chosen to explore the limits of space with the upcoming film.

Antariksham 9000 KMPH looks like the kind of film that will change the way the world looks ate Telugu cinema. Despite absolutely nothing about the plot being made clear, the teaser makes for quite an intriguing watch. The visuals of the space are breathtaking and leave an impact. Which seems to be why the teaser has already garnered 1 million views on YouTube. We have come a long way in terms of VFX, but still, a long way to go. Also, a round of applause for the sound design. #MeToo Movement: Aditi Rao Hydari Claps Back at Hypocrites, Says People Guilty of Harassment Are Giving Gyaan.

The DOP of the film is Gnana Shekar V S.The movie also stars Lavanya Tripathi alongside Aditi and Varun but she is missing from the teaser. The movie has been backed by First Frame Entertainment.

Indian cinema is finally seeing the potential in space films. Earlier this year, we saw the release of India's first space adventure film Tik Tik Tik, which did a decent business in the Tamil circuit.
