Kodi Ramakrishna Passes Away at 63; Telugu Cinema Has Lost a Legend, Says Jr NTR

The legendary filmmaker of Telugu cinema Kodi Ramakrishna has passed away at the age of 63. Earlier today it was reported that the renowned director-writer complained of acute breathlessness and was rushed to AIG Hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. As per a report in India Today, the filmmaker was in critical condition and was put on the ventilator. As soon as the news of Kodi Ramakrishna’s death broke out, Tollywood celebs have been pouring in condolences. Jr NTR shared on Twitter, “Telugu Cinema has lost a Legend. #RIPKodiRamaKrishnaGaru . You will be missed”. The director had earlier suffered from an heart attack and also a paralytic attack. Kodi Ramakrishna’s work is known across Tollywood. He received the state Raghupathi Venkaiah Award in 2012 for his contribution in Telugu cinema.
