Lucifer: Prithviraj’s Directorial Debut Starring Mohanlal Advances Towards 50 Glorious Days!

Lucifer is one of the most successfully running Malayalam movies in recent times. The Mohanlal and Manju Warrier starrer, which released on March 28, is making a roaring triumph at the box-office. Not only in Kerala, but the movie is garnering love from people across the country. Lucifer grossed more than Rs 100 crore worldwide within just 8 days, which is a record in itself. The film is now all set to touch the mark of 50 successful running days. Prithviraj, the popular young superstar of Malayalam cinema, had made his directorial debut with Lucifer, with the script written by Murali Gopy. He shared the film poster on his Twitter handle and wrote, “#Lucifer Towards 50 glorious days!”

Lucifer is a political thriller that has Mohanlal as an anti-hero who is brought into a political mess created after the demise of the ruling Chief Minister of Kerala. Manju Warrier played the female lead, while Vivek Oberoi made his debut in Malayalam cinema playing Lucifer's antagonist. Lucifer also had popular stars like Indrajith Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Sachin Khedekar, Faazil, Saikumar, Baiju Santosh, Nyla Usha and Saniya Iyyapan in the cast.
