Moreover, in its 2026 season, the Bigg Boss house has been built around the idea of duality, urging the contestants as well as viewers to take a second glance.

Two spaces and two mysteries this time! The Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20 house also introduces Room No. 20 designed to hold a surprise of its own. What lies within this space will unfold as BB20 season goes live on September 6. Get set for a big surprise inside the Bigg Boss 20 house. Also, the Mystery Room No.20 is there apart from the Mystery Room 2 X, which denotes the 'Two Lives' or 'Jeevandaan' theme of Bigg Boss 20.

Striking Installations Inside 'Bigg Boss 20' House
As bright-hued as ever, each space inside the Bigg Boss 20 house has been designed to surprise, intrigue and blur the boundaries between reality and imagination. The BB20 house transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. It achieves this through a series of striking installations. A vibrant, contemporary aesthetic runs through the house, bringing a fresh, youthful energy to its surreal world through playful forms, vivid hues and unexpected design details. Magician or Illusionist
Right at the glass-door entrance of the Bigg Boss 20 house from the garden, stands a giant magician or call him an illusionist. It represents imagination and positivity, as per a Bigg Boss executive. Next to the magician is a snake, reminding one of the negative aspects of life.
Giant Teapot
A large pink teapot pours into a couch, turning a familiar kitchen object into a unique seating experience.
Octopus
A magnificent octopus inside the BB20 house main area, holds chess pieces in its tentacles, bringing together the unpredictability of the ocean with the strategy and calculated moves of the game.
Hot-Air Balloon
Inside the house, a colourful hot-air balloon forms a cosy seating space, at once a symbol of escape and flight and something grounded and functional. The house itself becomes part of the spectacle, with eyes appearing across spaces as a surreal expression of Bigg Boss's most defining idea: nothing goes unseen.

Shark-Themed Pool in 'Bigg Boss 20'
In Bigg Boss Season 20, although the location of the swimming pool is the same as that in Bigg Boss 19, it comes with a shark-themed design.
Giant Faucet With Flowers
Behind the swimming pool is a giant faucet or tap that is not running water but large, beautiful flowers in myriad shades!
BB Food Truck
The kitchen of Bigg Boss 20 has some aspects similar to last season. However, the kitchen area has been positioned as a cute “BB Food Truck” - on top, giving the feel that one is cooking in a food truck and serving patrons.
'Bigg Boss 20' Bedrooms
The bedrooms in Bigg Boss 20 have the cots placed in similar positions as in Season 19, with single, double and triple beds. But the design is different and in more shades of bronze and light brown. There are giant mushrooms on the top, while the middle of the bedroom has faux flowers, plants and creatures like the scorpion and the chameleon placed right at the sitting area. It's going to be scary for contestants to sleep with these around!
Logic Behind 'Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20' House Design
Sharing the vision behind the Bigg Boss Season 20 house, Art Director Varsha Jain, said in a statement, “Designing the Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20 house was about creating a world that constantly challenges perception. We wanted to explore the idea of duality by taking objects and symbols that audiences instantly recognise and reimagining them in unexpected ways so that a teapot becomes a couch, an octopus becomes a chess player, and a hot-air balloon becomes a space to gather. Every element has been designed to feel familiar at first, but reveal something unexpected when you look closer. The eyes woven through the house bring it all back to the essence of Bigg Boss the feeling that nothing goes unseen. Ultimately, we wanted the house to feel like stepping into a dreamscape, where reality and imagination coexist and every space offers a new discovery.”
According to JioHotstar, the house constantly plays with perception, which is familiar yet strange, functional yet fantastical, playful yet thought-provoking. Every corner of the Bigg Boss 20 house has been designed to create a sense of discovery, making the house more than a setting for the game. The BB20 house is an extension of the 2026 season's main idea of 'duality', where appearances can be deceptive and nothing is as it seems.

Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20 premieres September 6, 2026, exclusively on JioHotstar at 9 PM and COLORS at 10.30 PM.
