Today's episode of Ishqbaaz starts with Roop telling Shivay(Nakul Mehta) that she knows he will return to her soon enough and leave Anika(Surbhi Chandna) for someone else as he cannot save Anika and his family together. She adds that if at all Anika finds out about how her father killed so many she would die. Shivay is confident that he would get to the roots of this and prove Anika's father and his own family innocent. Anika goes through her own things which she has carried from her house. Shivay tells the family that Anika has got her roots but he refrains from telling them that it is their foreman who was Anika's father. He is scared that the family might hate Anika on knowing the truth.

Shivay calls Khanna and asks him to get all the information deleted about Harshvardhan Trivedi as he does not want anyone tracing the information back to Anika. Anika hugs Shivay as she proudly displays her name on a card " Anika Vardhan Trivedi". She says that she is proud to flaunt her father's name. Shivay teases Anika about being so allergic to be called " Anika Shivay Singh Oberoi" and now she is flaunting her father's name. Anika says that her father was a hero and he had received medals for bravery and honesty. Shivay thinks that he wants Anika to always proudly remember her father and not be ashamed of the name she now flaunts. Bhavya calls Shivay and Anika down and as they reach down they are surprised by some celebration.

There is a flux displaying her name and Om(Kunal Jaisingh)  with Rudra(Leenesh Mattoo) say that this was all Pinky's plan. Pinky now gets all emotional and says that she is ashamed of herself for troubling Anika and abusing her family. She regrets trying to separate Anika and Shivay. Anika calms her down and says that Pinky has always meant to her more than her own mother would do. Pinky demands to be called Ma by Anika who does that overwhelming the entire family.

Shakti tells Anika that he has always considered Anika his daughter and now he wants to know more about Anika's father. Anika speaks fondly about her father and tells them that he worked for a factory. She says that she and her little sister were looked after by their father after their mother passed away. She adds that they stayed at Krishna nagar colony. This rings a bell with Shakti who points out that some of their employees stayed in teh colony, he asks if Anika's father too worked for the oberois. Shivay jumps in at this and says that he did not. Later Pinky asks Anika to write her name in their kulgothra book which Anika happily does.
