Super Singer Junior 6, which was in its sixth season, recently (on April 21) had its finale. Judged by legendary singers Shankar Mahadevan, Singer Chithra, Singer SPB Charan and Singer Kalpana, the grand finale of Star Vijay's most popular singing reality show Super Singer Junior 6 was held at the Nehru Stadium in Chennai. The finale saw a talented group of six young children compete against each other for the coveted title. The six finalists were Ahana, Hrithik, Sinmaye, Anushya, Poovaiyar and Soorya. In a tough battle, Hrithik has emerged victorious in the sixth season of Super Singer Junior and bagged the trophy at the grand finale.

Apart from the trophy, Hrithik was also awarded a house worth Rs. 50 lakh. While Soorya emerged as the first runner-up and was awarded not only with a trophy but he also bagged Rs 25 lakh worth gold prize. On the other hand, Poovaiyaar, who became the second runner-up, was awarded with a cheque worth Rs. 10 lakhs. The winners were decided on the basis of the combined votes of the judges and the audience.

Hrithik, who emerged as the title winner of the popular singing reality show, is ecstatic over the win. Thanking the judges, his trainers, voice expert Ananth Vaidyanathan, his school and all those (fans) who voted for him, elated Hrithik in his victory speech, said, "I am extremely happy to have won the trophy. I thank the people who voted for me, my trainers, judges and my school for their encouragement."

Also, Hrithik's father, who can't contain his excitement over his son's title win, thanked Vijay TV for giving a platform for his son to show his singing skills. Talking about the big night, apart from the finalists, the judges too gave an amazing performance on the finale night.
