The winners were decided on the basis of the combined votes of the judges and the audience. However, fans seem to be disappointed with the results. Yes, you read that right! Fans have been left fuming by the decision of the judges and the audience as they feel finalist Anushya deserved the title more than Hrithik. They even severely criticised the channel (Star Vijay) accusing it of cheating the viewers.

Anushya, who performed well all through the sixth season of Super Singer Junior, not only failed to win the trophy, but also did not find a place in the top three position. Angry fans then took to the micro-blogging site to write how the results were shocking and disappointing as they wanted Anushya to win the trophy
