Delhi High Court has directed Delhi University to extend the registration deadline for undergraduate courses to June 22, 2019. Following the HC’s order, the admission process at DU is going to be delayed. Along with the deadline, HC has also allowed the students to apply for the degree courses in the university based on last year’s eligibility criteria. According to the earlier schedule, the last date for DU registration 2019 was June 14. Now since the deadline has been extended, students can check the list of documents needed to apply for DU Admissions 2019, the details of which are available online at du.ac.in, and even given below in this article. Know Delhi University List of Changes Here. 

The Delhi University’s online registration process has commenced on May 30 and the varsity was supposed to release the first cut-off list on June 20. In a recent report, an official from the varsity reported that because of the extend in DU registration 2019 deadline, the merit list is expected by June 29 or 30. Various colleges affiliated to the Delhi University, including top ranked St. Stephens College, Hindu College, SRCC, LSR and Miranda College were expected to release its respective cut-offs on June 20. But now with the changes in the deadline, the cut-off dates will be postponed.

Documents Needed at Time of DU Registration 2019

  • Passport size photograph of the applicant (10-50 kb in size for upload in jpg/jpeg/png format).
  • Scanned signature of the applicant (10-50 kb in size for upload in jpg/jpeg/png format).
  • Self -Attested Class X certificate/mark sheet containing Date of Birth (100-500 kb in size for upload in jpg/jpeg/png format).
  • Self -Attested Class XII Mark Sheet, if results have been announced. (In case the Marksheet has not been issued by the Board, a self-attested copy of the Marksheet downloaded from the respective Board’s website should be uploaded). (100-500 kb in size for upload in jpg/jpeg/png format).
  • SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM Certificate (in the name of the Applicant) issued by the competent authority (100-500 kb in size for upload in jpg/jpeg/png format).
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the Applicant) issued on or after March 31, 2019. The OBC caste must be included in Central list issued by the Government of India. http://ncbc.nic.in. (100-500 kb for upload in jpg/jpeg/png format).
  • EWS Certificate issued by SDM certifying the applicant can claim reservation under this category, dated March 31, 2019 or later.(100-500 kb in size for upload in jpg/jpeg/png format)
  • Self-attested copies of Sports and/or ECA certificates. (100-500 kb in size per document for upload in jpg/jpeg/png format), if applying under these categories.

It shall be noted here that the uploaded documents will need to present in the colleges at the time of admission for online or forensic verification. If any false attestation or records are detected, the application will be cancelled.
