Jammu and Kashmir Police has released the interview list for the Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment examination on its official website; jkpolice.gov.in. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from November 12 to December 8, 2018. All candidates who got selected will have to report the Police Headquarters, Gulshan Ground Jammu depending on the schedule provided in the interview list. The list is comprised of the roll number of the candidates, exam date and the shift details. JK Police published the recruitment notice for SI posts in 2016. For the Jammu and Kashmir SI recruitment, the candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written test, viva voice and personality test. The official notice released by the conducting body reads, “In case of tie in merit, the preference will be given to the candidate being older in age. The selected candidates shall have to serve in any part of the State as per the order in vogue or as may be issued from time to time,' reads the official notice released by the recruiting body.” At the interview, the candidates are instructed to carry their personal identity cards and original testimonials and should report at the venue on time. Latecomers under any circumstances will not be entertained.
