The announcement was made by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DGIPR), Maharashtra, which said the extension was granted to ensure that students affected by the weather could complete the admission process.
Admission Confirmation Deadline Extended

Candidates are also required to use the 'Proceed for Admission' option on the admission portal to complete the process.

Extension Due to Heavy Rainfall
The state government said the deadline was extended because heavy rainfall and school closures in parts of Maharashtra could affect students' ability to visit their allotted colleges and complete admission formalities. Several districts, including parts of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, have declared holidays for schools and colleges following forecasts of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall.

The government said the schedule for the next round of FYJC admissions will be announced at 6 pm on July 8, after the extended confirmation window closes.
Details of vacant seats available for the next round will be published on July 10.
Students have been advised to regularly check the official FYJC admission portal for updates and complete all admission formalities before the revised deadline.
