The Tamil Nadu State Selection Committee was supposed to release the merit list today, July 4, 2019, for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). However, the commission has just confirmed that the students will have to wait for some more time now, and the Tamil Nadu MBBS and BDS rank list 2019 will not be released today. Once published, students will be able to check the TN NEET 2019 rank list online at the official website; tnmedicalselection.org. Students are further advised to keep a tab with the TN Medical Selection web portal for all the updates. The Medical Council of India (MCI) has already released the NEET UG 2019 first cut-off list. MCI only conducts the counselling for top 15 per cent candidates, under the All India Quota seats, across the country. For the remaining 85 per cent, the state medical bodies are responsible to host the counselling to fill seats in the state-based college. Earlier, Tamil Nadu Medical Selection was supposed to happen July 2 and later got postponed to July 4, 2019. Now, according to the latest report, the NEET 2019 rank list for Tamil Nadu candidates will be out on July 6 or July 8, 2019.
List of Documents Needed for TN NEET 2019 Counselling
- NEET- UG 2019 admit card and scorecard.
- Class 10 mark sheet.
- Class 11 mark sheet.
- HSC mark sheet.
- Transfer certificate obtained after the completion of Class 12 HS or equivalent course.
- Certificate for proof of study from class 6 to class 10.
- Candidates who are native of and have studied from class 6 to class 12 in schools of Tamil Nadu as supporting documents.
- Permanent Community Certificate Card.
- First Graduate Certificate (if applicable).
The Tamil Nadu medical body has not yet announced if they are going to include the 25 per cent Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) quota. All the state candidates are advised to keep a tab with the TN medical body site to stay updated.
