With the exam scheduled from 2 pm to 5:20 pm across 557 cities, candidates must adhere to specific guidelines and protocols laid out by the examination authority. Over 24 lakh medical aspirants are gearing up for this crucial examination, competing for around one lakh MBBS seats.

Dress Code Guidelines

  • For Female Candidates: Light-coloured half-sleeved shirts with pants are permitted.
  • For Male Candidates: Light-coloured half-sleeved shirts or t-shirts with trousers are allowed.
  • Avoid Heavy Clothing: Traditional or customary clothes are acceptable but require reporting at least an hour before the latest reporting time for adequate frisking.
  • Footwear: Shoes are not allowed; candidates may wear slippers or sandals with short heels.

    Prohibited Items

    • Geometry or pencil box
    • Handbag or purse
    • Instruments

    Reporting Time and Other Instructions

    • The reporting time at the exam centre is 11:30 am, and the last entry is at 1:30 pm.
    • No bio-breaks allowed during the first hour and last half-hour of the exam.
    • Candidates will undergo biometric attendance and frisking procedures.
    • Candidates with diabetes can bring specific eatables with prior notification.
    • Admit card, ID proof, and other necessary documents must be carried.

Permitted Items and Identity Proof

  • Exam Timing: Single shift from 2 pm to 5:20 pm.
  • Identity Proof: Aadhaar Card (with photograph), E-Aadhaar, or other government-issued ID proofs are acceptable.
