The NTA has clarified that the refund amount will vary depending on the category under which the candidate originally registered. Eligible applicants will receive refunds structured as follows:

Step-by-Step Verification Process
To ensure a secure and seamless transfer of funds, candidates must manually input their banking information on the official website. The NTA has issued specific operational guidelines for navigating the refund window:

Alongside the refund update, the NTA finalized the schedule for the upcoming NEET UG 2026 re-examination. The test is scheduled to take place on June 21, 2026.
The exam will be administered using the traditional pen-and-paper (offline) mode. According to official guidelines, the testing window will run for three hours and fifteen minutes, commencing at 2:00 PM and concluding at 5:15 PM.
