Mumbai, April 23: Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) 2018 Results are out! Yes, you heard that right. After much delay and all the hullaballoo around it, the Class XII students of Punjab State Board can sigh a relief now. The students can check their score online on the Punjab Board’s official website - pseb.ac.in., and indiaresults.com. Following the announcement, the board students will be able to download the official scorecard of their results.

The PSEB announced the Class 12th Results (Senior Secondary – 10+2 Exams) from its headquarters. As per the Class XII Results announced by Punjab Board, a total of 3,00,417 students had appeared for the examinations. Out of the total students who appeared for 2018 PSEB Examinations this year, 1,98,199 students managed to pass the exams.

Talking about the pass percentages, regular schools saw 68.42 percent of students clearing the PSEB 2018 examinations. Whereas the score dipped to as low as 40.07 percent in the context of Open schools. The overall pass percentage was, however, recorded at 65.97 percent.

The PSEB Results in 2018 indicate that the girl students in the state have overshadowed the boy's performances. As per the 2018 PSEB Results, the pass percentage for girl students' was 78.25 percent; whereas for the boy students,' it was recorded at 60.46 percent. The Punjab State Board Examinations began in the month of February, starting on 28th, whereas it ended in March, on 24th.

Last year, a total of 3,14,815 students had appeared for Class XII Punjab State Board Exams. Out of them, only 1,96,321 students managed to clear the Board Exams. Even in the year 2017, the girls had outshone the boys by a huge margin. As per the PSEB Results 2017, girl students' pass percentage was 72.59 percent, whereas the boy students' pass percentage was only 54.42 percent.

As a lot of students are slated to visit the official website - pseb.ac.in - it is likely that the website of Punjab State Board may face a few technical glitches.
