When Will Banks Remain Closed in November 2025?

As per the RBI bank holiday list, banks will remain closed on Saturday, November 1, for Kannada Rajyothsava and Igas-Bagwal. Notably, banks will observe closure in Bengaluru and Dehradun only, with physical banking remaining open across all other cities in India on that day. The November 5 bank holiday applies to Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar. RBI has declared Friday, November 7, as a bank holiday in Shillong for the Wangala Festival. The last designated bank holiday is on Saturday, November 8, for the Kanakadasa Jayanthi, which will be celebrated in Bengaluru.

In addition to these RBI-designated holidays, banks will also stay shut for business on November 8 and November 22 on account of the second and fourth Saturdays of the month and on November 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 on account of weekend holiday (Sundays).
