Bihar, May 3: In a tragic incident in Bihar, a total of 27 people have died due to fire in a bus, after it overturned, in Bihar's Motihari district. The bus is said to have overturned and caught fire which led to the death of 27 people in the bus. There are a few visuals that has been put up by news agency ANI. The disastrous incident has once again raised questions about travel safety of the passengers.

The Bihar Disaster Management and Relief Minister has termed it a really sad incident and announced a compensation for the victims family. He said that "It is a really sad incident. There is a provision to give compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the next of kin of dead in such cases and it will be given"

This incident comes just days after the Kushinagar tragedy where a school van was mowed down by a train after crossing an unmanned railway crossing. The driver was driving with headphones in his ears and didn't or could not listen to the kids shouting for help said one of the injured children.
