Police and Fire Brigade Reach the Spot
After receiving information about the incident, Safdarganj police and fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot. Firefighters brought the blaze under control, but the car had already been completely engulfed in flames, and the driver died at the scene. Police identified Kumar through the vehicle’s registration number. He was reportedly the only person inside the car at the time of the incident. Safdarganj police station in-charge Ajay Prakash Tripathi said the body had been taken into custody and further legal proceedings had been initiated. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown. Police are investigating the circumstances in which the moving vehicle caught fire and whether the driver had an opportunity to escape before the flames spread.
