Mumbai, December 8: The second edition of This Crazy Food Festival, which began here on Saturday, has brought a melange of gourmet culinary affairs and a chance to sip, sample and savour different kinds of wines, food and drinks.

Organised by The A La Carte Company, the two-day fest lets visitors indulge in dishes inspired by home chefs and artistic creations of restaurants having stalls there, along with an all-day cocktail bar. Food Festival in Mumbai 2018: Enjoy Authentic Marathi Dishes on Platter at Mejwani Maharashtri chi in Goregoan.

People can buy gourmet food products and other home items too. As the fest's founders Rekha Pamani-Gulati and Nisha Sareen had promised the event to be an extravaganza of food, wine and entertainment experiences, there is more to it than just sampling and eating.

There are dance classes, sports activities, foot spa and live music, with saxophone artist Tanique Fossa performing, followed by Kiran and the Impresarios.

Adding to it is a Capoeira display, an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics and music. On Sunday, the Royal Western India Turf Club will host the INDIAN 1000 Guineas Race.
