Modinagar, February 11: In what is believed to be an act of humanity, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan saved the life of a female naxal in Nadiha town in Jharkhand. As per reports in a leading Hindi Daily Dainik Bhaskar, the jawan—identified as Gulzar saved the woman's life by donating blood as she was injured in a clash between security forces and naxals. Reports further inform that the incident took place on February 8, 2018 during a search operation by security forces in Nodiha town’s Chetma village.

The report states that  a group of naxals who got into a fight with the security forces left behind the injured woman naxal—identified as Manju. The woman was taken care of by the CRPF jawans as she was severely injured in the encounter. As per reports, Manju had suffered heavy blood loss and was taken to the nearby hospital where the CPRF helped the ailing woman by donating blood. Currently, the woman is undergoing a treatment.

Gulzar-who saved the female naxal said he was happy that he could save her life as God had given him an opportunity to do a good deed. He said he didn’t want to lose this opportunity of being of great help to someone in need. The report further adds that the female naxal was in dire need of blood and the jawan was ready to help her at any cost. He said it is his duty to protect people irrespective of who they are and what they do.
