Another attack on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troops. The terrorists in the Mominabad-Batamaloo region of Srinagar threw another grenade towards the CRPF team; this happens to be the fourth grenade attack in last few hours.

As per the latest reports, there was a third attack on the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in a matter of last few hours. This time also, a grenade was thrown towards the CRPF team stationed at Magarmal Bagh in Srinagar. No injuries or casualties have been reported.

Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha has been ruled out of the upcoming one-off Test match against Afghanistan due to a thumb injury. The 33-year-old sustained the injury to his right thumb, while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on April 14.
Confirming the news, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said that its medical team has decided to give Saha some rest ahead of the upcoming Test series against England.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA and human rights' activist H S Phoolka is likely to resign if the party forms an alliance with the Congress. Phoolka, a veteran advocate, has been fighting several cases against Congress leader Sajjan Kumar, who is an accused in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. In the 2017 Punjab assembly elections, Phoolka was elected from Ludhiana assembly seat.

The manner in which our worker was hanged, Mamata Banerjee does not have the right to stay in power anymore," said BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain."We will not sit quietly especially after the manner in which BJP people are being targeted. Bengal police works like a cadre of TMC, there is no difference between the two of them," he added.

Prices for petrol and diesel were cut by nine paise on Saturday. In Delhi, petrol now costs Rs 78.20 a litre, and diesel costs Rs 69.11 per litre. The revised petrol prices in other metro cities are - Rs 80.84 in Kolkata, Rs 86.01 in Mumbai and Rs 81.19 in Chennai. Meanwhile, the revised diesel prices in other metro cities are - Rs 71.66 in Kolkata, Rs 73.58 in Mumbai and 72.97 in Chennai.
