Gorakhpur, April 7: A 20-year-old Ukrainian model Daria Molcha, who was arrested from Gorakhpur hotel on April 3 by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) had made various revelations. Molcha was arrested on charges of staying illegally in India without a valid visa. As per report published in the Hindustan Times, The Ukrainian model has revealed details of her ‘Indian friends’ who facilitated her entry into the country via Nepal using fake documents, including a forged Indian driving license.

Molcha, who is currently lodged in Gorakhpur district jail revealed her contacts with Gorakhpur-based businessman Anuj Poddar and Delhi-based businessmen Imsham Kashif. Apart from Poddar and Kashif  the police and security agencies will interrogate her other ‘Indian friends’ also.

According to the police, objectionable photographs of Molcha with a senior Delhi cop, an airport official and some Kolkata cadet officers have been recovered from her smart phones and tablets. The police have informed the Intelligence Bureau because they believed that she was used as a honeytrap to access confidential information regarding national security.

The Ukrainian model was booked under various sections of  Indian Penal Code (IPC). While interacting with media, STF inspector Satya Prakash said that the model, who was arrested with 18,000 US dollars, smart phones and tablets, was booked under sections of IPC dealing with document forgery, committing fraud and under the Foreigners Act.

According to report published in the Hindustan Times, STF officials said that Daria entered India illegally in March this year. She stayed at Imsham’s house in New Friends Colony for 15 days. On April 2 she took a flight to Gorakhpur using fake documents. Molcha was scheduled to leave for the Gulf via Nepal with Anuj Poddar. The police arrested her before she could leave.

Assuring stern action against those who helped her illegal stay in the country, SSP Shalabh Mathur assured to nab all those who helped her staying illegaly in india. As published in the Hindustan Times, SSP Mathur said, “A fake driving licence has been recovered from the Ukrainian model who had crossed into India without any valid visa. The issue is serious. Those who helped her cross the border and also gave her shelter are under scanner and action will be taken against them. For now a probe is on. Soon the whole racket will be busted.”

The Ukrainian model arrived in India for the first time in 2016. She worked as a model with Karma modeling agency. She started visiting Urban Club to increase her contacts, where she met Poddar and Imsham Kashif. However, due to her suspicious activities, her visa was blacklisted and she left the country. She again arrived in India on a tourist visa in December 2017, but was made to return from the airport due to the government ban on her stay in the country.

This year in March, Molcha entered the country using fake documents. Poddar and Kashif helped her in obtaining fake documents. Security agencies are probing the reason of her continuous visit India despite a ban and her motive to make Indian friends. Security agencies are also trying to figure out her motive to visit China in 2013 along with other Gulf countries before coming to India.
