The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday conducted raids at the premises of some close associates of Robert Vadra, son-in-law of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, according to his lawyer Suman Jyoti Khaitan.

Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested three people and seized Rs 13 lakh and 1 kg of heroin from them during a search at check post in Valmiki Chowk, Jammu. Sunniya Ashkoor Wani (SDPO) says,"One of the arrested persons is a surrendered terrorist. Case registered&probe underway."

Supreme Court on Friday rejected a PIL filed by lawyer Manohar Lal Sharma, seeking action against Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and alleged that he wanted to "plunder" capital reserve of RBI to waive off the loan to certain companies. The Court has also slapped a fine of Rs 50,000 on Sharma.
