New Delhi, June 10: Rains in Mumbai, Konkan and Goa region continue to remain the big focus as the India Meteorological Department has warned of incessant rainfall combined with thunderstorm over the next 24 hours. The civic bodies in Mumbai and Thane have warned residents against venturing outside their homes unless necessitated. The normal life was hit in Mumbai on Saturday, with water logging reported in 11 busy parts of the city, along with four rain-related deaths being reported. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Ajoy Mehta said 3,000 additional personnel have been deployed over the weekend to minimise the impact of the storm.
