Bihar, November 30: In connection to the Muzaffarpur shelter home case, the District Magistrate has released an order to attach property of accused Brajesh Thakur's wife and six other members of Seva Sankalp Samiti, the NGO that ran the shelter home, according to an ANI update. NGO Manager Taught Girls How to Have Sex at Muzaffarpur Shelter Home: CBI.

Earlier this month, CBI arrested Madhu Kumari aka Saista Praveen, manager of the NGO that was running a shelter home in Muzaffarpur. Terming Madhu Kumari's arrest as a big catch, CBI said she used to teach girls how to have sex and dance on vulgar songs. Kumari, however, claimed innocence.  The girls were allegedly being prepared for their first sexual intercourse. The former Bihar Minister Manju Verma, who was absconding for nearly three months in an arms case related to the Muzaffarpur shelter home case also surrendered at a court.

Of the 42 girls lodged at the short-stay home run by Thakur's NGO, 34 were found to have been sexually assaulted. The horrific incident came to light after a social audit by the Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai was done. The shelter home has been sealed, and Thankur is now in the Muzaffarpur jail.
