A three-year-old boy died after being bitten by a poisonous snake in Dhanapur town of Chandauli district, Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday night. The incident left the family in shock as the child, identified as Raghunath Seth, was cremated at Narauli Ganga Ghat on Wednesday morning.

According to information, Raghunath Seth, son of Pawan Seth, was playing outside his house around 9 pm on Tuesday when a poisonous snake hidden in garbage near the house allegedly bit him. CCTV Footage Confirmed Snake Bite

Initially, the family suspected that the child had been bitten by a venomous creature. However, footage from a CCTV camera installed at the house later confirmed that the boy was bitten by a snake.

Family Grieves Child’s Death

The child’s death has left the family devastated. His mother Anamika Seth, grandfather Shyamnarayan Seth, and elder father Vishnu Seth are reportedly inconsolable following the incident.

The deceased child’s six-year-old elder sister, Kuhu, was also left deeply shocked after the tragedy.

Snake Released Into Forest After Capture Attempt

Vishnu Seth, the child’s elder father, said that a snake charmer was called on the night of the incident to capture the snake and release it into the forest.

The child’s last rites were performed at Narauli Ganga Ghat on Wednesday morning. Residents of Dhanapur town expressed grief over the incident, with the area mourning the child’s death.
