New Delhi, June 28: A Delhi-bound Air India flight with 124 passengers onboard made an emergency landing at Patna airport on Thursday. According to a recent tweet by ANI, the emergency landing was done after the flight suffered a bird hit.  According to details avalaible, all passengers are safe.

Earlier this week, a Delhi-bound Air India flight carrying 131 passengers returned to the city airport after suffering a bird-hit.  An Air India spokesperson confirmed the incident saying the flight AI 440 was airborne for nearly 20 minutes before it suffered the bird-hit, "forcing" it to return to the city airport.

In another similar incident, an Air India A321 aircraft flying in from Ahmedabad earlier this week made an emergency landing at the Mumbai airport after a hydraulic failure. According to reports, Air India flight AI-985 took off from Ahmedabad with 131 passengers on board at 7.30 pm, but the aircraft developed a hydraulic failure en route which forced the pilots to opt for an emergency landing.
