A salon owner in Bengaluru was allegedly assaulted by a group of men following a dispute linked to the dismissal of an employee, police said. The incident occurred on March 28 at Skin Shine Unisex Salon in the Avalahalli area of North Bengaluru, leaving the owner injured and prompting an ongoing police search for the accused.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), the attack was carried out by the husband of a former employee, identified as Sushma, along with four to five associates. Authorities said the group entered the salon and confronted the owner over the termination, which escalated into violence. Police said the accused allegedly used abusive language, issued threats, and physically assaulted the salon owner, Mohan Kumar. When Kumar’s wife attempted to intervene, she was also reportedly manhandled during the altercation. Kumar sustained injuries and was admitted to a hospital for treatment.

Search operations are underway to locate the accused, who remain absconding. Police said efforts are ongoing to identify all individuals involved in the assault.

In a separate case, a man from West Bengal was found dead in Cubbon Park on Friday. The deceased, identified as Suresh, was employed at a mobile phone repair shop on SJP Road. Police said he died by suicide, and a case has been registered.

In another incident earlier in the week, a 34-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband in the Nagasandra area under the jurisdiction of Peenya police station. Authorities said the accused allegedly attacked her during a dispute over money.
