Train Runs Over 11 People at Bihar's Bhabhua Railway Station, 5 Dead

Kaimur, October 13: In a horrifying incident, five people have lost their lives and six people have been seriously injured after the train ran over them. The incident took place at Bhabua Railway Station in Bihar's Kaimur district on Friday at 5: 30 pm when Varanasi-Ranchi Intercity Express 18612 reached Bhabua station at platform no 3. 13 School Children Killed as Train Hits School Van in Uttar Pradesh.

Because of Durga Puja, there was a lot of crowd on the platform and few passengers decided to get out from the wrong side. Meanwhile, Lal Kuan Express 12353, which was going from Howrah to Lal Kuan arrived on the next track, resulting in the death of five people who were crossing from the wrong side and injuring many.

The decreased were four women and one man while six others were heavily injured. After the drastic incident, the movement of trains in all three platforms were blocked for the next couple of hours. After the police and district administration reached the spot, the bodies were sent to post-mortem at a nearby hospital and injured were admitted for further treatment.
