The group has also appealed to student unions and other organisations to assist with permissions and logistical arrangements for the district-level demonstrations.
Protest Follows Delhi Clashes
The nationwide call comes after clashes during the CJP's 'Chalo Sansad' march in Delhi on July 22. The organisation has accused Delhi Police of using excessive force against peaceful protesters during the demonstration.
Delhi Police, however, has maintained that protesters turned violent, attacked police personnel and damaged public property during the march.
Call for Peaceful Demonstrations
Despite the dispute over the events in Delhi, the CJP has urged supporters across the country to hold peaceful protests on July 24 in solidarity with those affected during the demonstrations in the national capital.
The organisation's campaign seeks to coordinate district-level gatherings across India while reiterating its call for peaceful participation and public expression of its demands.
