"It is extremely painful to see students being beaten like animals," she said, adding that the protesters did not deserve such treatment. Her remarks came after Delhi Police used tear gas and lathi-charge during the "Sansad Chalo" march, where thousands of CJP supporters and students attempted to march towards Parliament.
