New Delhi, August 26: A fire started in the warehouse at Kasna in the wee hours of Monday. According to an ANI tweet, more than 18 fire engines have rushed to the spot and there have been no reports of any injuries till now. The cause of the blaze is not yet known. The major fire reportedly broke out at a menthol warehouse in Kasna area of Greater Noida. The fire continued to blaze for more than three hours because the fire officials were finding it difficult to douse the fire owing to the presence of a huge amount of methanol oil store at the warehouse.

A week back, a massive fire broke out at a godown containing oil drums in Ghitorni village in Delhi.  The incident took place near the MG road. In the visuals shared by netizens on Twitter, a towering plume of black smoke billowing from the warehouse could be seen.

On August 6, a fire broke out at a multi-storey building in Delhi's Zakir Nagar area. While twenty people were rescued, six people were killed in the incident. The fire was first reported at the electricity meter which spread across the parking lot.
