Banaskantha, April 10: A major blaze erupted at an oil mill in Chandisar area in Gujarat's Banaskantha district on Wednesday morning. The cause of the fire is not yet unknown but it is believed that blaze erupted due to short-circuit. However, fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire has reportedly been brought under control now. No casualties have been reported yet.

The blaze was reported on Wednesday morning. Fire tenders were pressed into action as soon as the incident was reported. Gujarat in the past few months has been struggling with fire issues with a number of fire incidents reported. On Monday, over 100 people were rescued after a fire broke out in a multi-storey commercial complex in Ahmedabad's Prahladnagar area. The blaze broke out in the ninth and tenth floor. No casualties were reported, however, three people were unconscious when rescued.
