Two Gurugram police personnel were killed and another was critically injured late Monday night after their Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) rammed into a stationary water tanker in the Farrukhnagar area. The deceased have been identified as Head Constables Chote Lal and Anil Kumar. The incident occurred around 11:15 PM when the patrolling team was rushing to Farrukhnagar to resolve a reported brawl. According to investigators, the ERV crashed into a water tanker parked illegally on the roadside near Khera Khurrampur. Officials noted the tanker had no active lights or reflective tape, making it invisible to the police vehicle's driver in the dark. Local villagers helped pull the trapped officers from the mangled wreckage. While the two head constables were declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital, the third officer, Constable Dharmender Kumar, remains in critical condition. The Gurugram Police have registered an FIR against the tanker driver, who fled the scene immediately after the crash. Nashik Car Accident: 9 Family Members Dead After Maruti XL6 Plunges Into Water-Filled Well in Dindori’s Shivaji Nagar (Watch Video).
