The incident took place in Jyoti Nagar under the rural Kotwali area of Hardoi. Arun, 21, had gone to his elder brother Akash's field to water the crops. Around 2 pm, Arun was reportedly picking up a sack of hay when a snake hiding inside it bit him.
As Arun's condition began to deteriorate, Akash rushed him to the hospital. During the journey, a medical store owner, Shivam Sharma, reportedly noticed the brothers and helped transport Arun to the medical college on his motorcycle. Doctors Told Family To Keep Snake Bite Victim Awake
At the medical college, doctors began treating Arun and reportedly found that the venom had started affecting his nervous system. He became extremely drowsy and repeatedly appeared to lose consciousness.
Doctors instructed his family to make every effort to keep him awake while treatment continued. Following the advice, Akash stayed beside his brother and repeatedly slapped him whenever he appeared to become unconscious.

15 Anti-Venom Injections Given
Doctors reportedly administered 15 anti-venom injections after assessing the severity of the snake bite. The hospital team said the venom had spread significantly through Arun's body and required immediate treatment.
Following continued medical care, Arun eventually survived the critical phase. The incident has drawn attention to the importance of seeking immediate medical treatment after a suspected venomous snake bite.
