Rohtak, August 27: In a shocking incident, a group of five students studying at Gurukul boarding school at Haryana’s Rohtak have accused their seniors of sodomising them. All the victims are between 10-12 years of age. They alleged that seniors sexually exploited them for almost a year. The accused also threatened their juniors for not telling to anybody.

According to reports, the incident came to light when one of the victims' mother and sister went to the boarding school on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. He cried in from of them and told them about the trauma. Seeing this other victims also came forward. The victims were also beaten by the seniors.

The police have registered a case under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexually Offences Act (POCSO). The victims have been sent for the medical examination. The accused will be produced before the court today. The police have also booked school staffers in connection with the case. A team of from the Child Welfare Committee will also visit the boarding school.

Gurukul's dean Haridutt claimed that it raised questions on the entire incident. Speaking to India Today, he said, “Sometimes children adopt such tactics so that can escape from here. Only police can find the truth after an investigation.”
