Mumbai, November 13: If you are planning to travel between Mumbai, Pune and Shirdi, you can soon take the chopper services which will be operating in this route. American helicopter taxi service BLADE will be starting its operation from November 18. BLADE will operate on fly-by-the-seat chopper services between the two cities.

The services will be available six days a week, from Monday to Saturday. The services were earlier supposed to be launched in May 2019, then it got delayed. Helicopter BLADE Services to Start From Mumbai to Pune And Mumbai to Shirdi From October.

BLADE India will also be offering heli-taxis between Mumbai to Shirdi. In Mumbai, flights will take off from the Mahalaxmi Racecourse helipad. In Pune, they will operate from Mundhwa, and in Shirdi from Chaitanyapur, Kopargaon.

Blade India spokesperson quoted in a Mumbai Mirror report said the inaugural fares per seat from Mumbai to Pune will start at Rs 19,900 and Mumbai to Shirdi will be Rs 21,900 and Pune to Shirdi will cost Rs 18,900 without GST. .The first chopper ride will take the passengers from Pune to Mumbai, and then to Shirdi and return to Pune. The chopper ride will reduce the journey of almost six hours to just 35 minutes.
