Authorities have busted an alleged high-profile s*x racket operating out of a luxury resort in Ramnagar, located near the Jim Corbett National Park, following a massive joint operation over the weekend. Law enforcement officials arrested 52 individuals and rescued 10 women, including a minor, from the premises. The resort has since been sealed by the police as investigations continue.

The crackdown was executed by a joint team comprising the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), the Special Operations Group (SOG), and the Ramnagar Police. Acting on a specific tip-off, investigators raided the property and discovered an ongoing liquor party. According to police reports, women were allegedly forced to perform obscene dances while guests showered them with cash. Authorities also seized a significant amount of incriminating material from the site. S*x Racket Busted in Nainital Resort; Police Arrest 51, Rescue 10 Women Including Minor.

Interrogations revealed that the main organizer of the event was Umendra Kumar, a businessman hailing from Meerut. Kumar reportedly confessed to booking the resort for July 4 and July 5 at a cost of approximately тВ╣2.20 lakh. He claimed the event was intended as an entertainment gathering for individuals associated with his pesticide manufacturing enterprise.

The investigation has also uncovered attempts by the resort management to destroy and conceal evidence. Police found that the resort's general manager had explicitly instructed staff members not to log the names of the guests or the brought-in women inside the visitor register. Due to this deliberate attempt to bypass regulatory record-keeping, authorities moved swiftly to seal the entire property.
