Actor Satendra Soni, recognized for his notable roles in the hit web series Mirzapur, Panchayat, and the film Laapataa Ladies, has returned safely to Mumbai following an intense dispute on the set of his upcoming film in Madhya Pradesh. Soni recently took to social media to allege that he was abruptly fired, evicted from his accommodation, and subjected to death threats by the film’s production team after requesting his outstanding acting fees.

Financial Disputes and Eviction Alleges on Set

According to video statements posted to his official Instagram account, the conflict began during the filming of Paid Palki, an upcoming movie directed by filmmaker Pushpinder Singh. Soni stated that the production took place in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh, under a contract where he received an initial signing amount of ₹50,000, with an agreement that the remaining balance would be paid incrementally throughout the filming schedule. ‘Ye Kaunsa Show Hai?’: ‘Alpha’ Actor Bobby Deol’s Reaction to Samay Raina’s ‘India’s Got Latent’ Goes Viral (Watch Video).

The actor alleged that after completing eight days of shooting, he approached the director to request his pending payments. Instead of receiving his fees, Soni claimed the production team abruptly wrapped up his schedule, ordered him to vacate his hotel immediately, and threatened his life if he remained.

Police Assistance and Safe Return to Mumbai

Following the incident, Soni posted a subsequent video confirming that he and two of his colleagues managed to escape the situation and travel back to Maharashtra. The actor credited local authorities and administrative figures in Madhya Pradesh for facilitating his safe return, publicly expressing gratitude to the Maihar Police, MP Tourism officials, and local collectors.

"We have safely reached Mumbai," Soni shared in an online caption. He extended his thanks to the police personnel and industry colleagues who supported him through the ordeal.
